Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

LUMS has a distinguished reputation, and its rigorous academic atmosphere was the main reason that attracted me to study here.

What was the best thing about your course?

I believe the best aspect was that it fully motivated our enthusiasm for learning, with intellectually stimulating classes that drew me in. At the same time, it gave us ample space to express ourselves and to pursue what we truly want to do.

What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?

Dr Fu Yu gave me the greatest inspiration, and in her classes I was able to fully develop my abilities.

Did you do a project, placement or study abroad? What did this involve and what did you gain?

I did an internship as an Assistant Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), and what I learned from this experience is that it is very important for an HRBP to have a deep understanding of both business and technology.

Describe your time at LUMS in three words.

Focus, Engagement, Freedom.

What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?

The best part was finishing my dissertation.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

Lancaster is so peaceful and beautiful, and it has the best lawns in the world.

Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?

The workshops I attended at Lancaster University were extremely helpful to me.

What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?

The degree and experiences I gained at Lancaster University provided a strong start for my career, and the knowledge and skills I acquired have shaped me greatly.

Is there anything else about your LUMS experience that you'd like to share with us?

Cherish the time spent studying at Lancaster University – it is a precious memory in life.
