Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

I chose to study at LUMS as firstly it was secluded from the city life, that helped me to focus and double down on what really mattered for me as a student. Apart from its location I liked the fact that it is one of the highest ranked courses you do as an international student at such a prestigious university.

What was the best thing about your course?

I think when I look at it with hindsight one of the best things about my course was the access to brilliant faculty and alumni that opens doors to many future opportunities.

Did you do a project, placement or study abroad? What did this involve and what did you gain?

I led a multi-cultural team under a company project for my dissertation where we developed GTM strategies/ Product/ Marketing strategies for a company called Viterium. This was a great learning opportunity and gave me a taste of real world experience which you can then extrapolate to any business in the world.

What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?

The whole experience was amazing and special. One of my favourite memories was winning a LUMS Dean's Award and also achieving the Lancaster Gold Award. I think I am very fortunate to have gained both of these.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

I am someone who likes the country life so I heartily enjoyed that when I was in Lancaster. The local chip shop was also a go-to place for some good food. I would say in a nutshell Lancaster has all the resources to make you a well-rounded individual academically and personally.
