L'Oréal Paris is one of the leading beauty and cosmetic brands in the UK and belongs to the L'Oréal UK Group. My role involved liaising with product managers and assisting with the design and implementation of a broad range of digital marketing tools, with a particular focus on website design, CRM and social media. All activity was predominantly campaign-led, assisting the launch of key new product development over the course of the year.

One particular highlight was being invited to attend the first annual European Marketing Summit at Facebook (UK headquarters) and having the opportunity to meet and greet Digital Managers from a range of FMCG brands, including Oreo, Lynx and Paul Smith.

Another highlight was the annual L’Oreal Christmas Party held at the suitably suave Café de Paris near Leicester Square. Cheryl Cole turned up to tell everyone they were ‘worth it’ and we were treated to a performance from Rylan (X Factor 2012). There was a free bar and it was all incredibly glamorous.
