Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

I gained my Undergraduate degree (BSc Business Studies) at LUMS in 2016, and decided to do my Postgraduate studies here as well. LUMS helps every student to create a truly unique academic experience and gain a degree that suits his or her aims best. Friendliness of teaching and administrative staff, their eagerness to help are very important factors, as well as a high percentage of international students’ presence. 

Why did you choose your particular programme?

MSc Management programme represents a perfect mix of subjects that are career-applicable, interesting and challenging at the same time. The course group is very international and relatively small, which creates an ideal environment for studies. Moreover, the programme and business school rankings will boost my employability chances after graduation.

What are you enjoying most about your programme?

MSc Management gives me an opportunity to learn how to analyse a business from all possible perspectives by studying at least one module from each department of the Management School. The module-per-week system is a fresh approach to the complexity of our studies as it allows me to ‘dive’ into every discipline on the course. Group works and projects play a great role in my studies, as well as individual courseworks and exams.

Tell us about your best Lancaster moment so far.

This year I am working part-time in the LUMS Careers Department as their Information Assistant, and I am very happy to be able to help students with their queries as well as assist the Department with Drop-In clinics, events, etc. I am also an Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Ambassador for LUMS, which allows me to support the school in helping all the prospective and current students during their university time as well as to get involved in numerous exciting projects.

What are your plans after graduating from LUMS?

After graduating from LUMS I am planning to find a job in the areas of Business Analytics or Consulting.
