A day in the life of an MSc Project Management student
Posted on

My day is a well-orchestrated routine that keeps me on track and focused.
Morning
Each day starts with a sense of familiarity, as I have been living here for five months now. The early morning light filters through my window, and I am up and about by eight o'clock.
My day begins with a hearty breakfast, usually, a regular sandwich and a steaming cup of coffee, prepared lovingly in my kitchen. I take my time to savour the flavours and mentally prepare for the day ahead. Before class begins, I like to have a little chat with my boyfriend, just to catch up on what's been going on.
Sometimes, before class, I go for morning work as a student ambassador for a calling campaign. It's a great opportunity to interact with people and spread awareness about the university. Then, it's time for class.
Our classes are interactive, and we work in groups. We play games, have debates, and learn from each other. After class, it's time for lunch at home, and I take a moment to relax and recharge.
Afternoon
We have been preparing for a group presentation for Darren Dalcher, our Business, Benefits, and Strategy professor for the past week. It's been an exciting and inspiring experience to contribute to the upcoming Eden Project in Morecambe. We meet at the library or in campus meeting rooms to discuss optional projects and strategies for success.
Once the meeting is over, I head home, have a quick snack, and then head to the library to work on assignments and classwork for 2-3 hours a day. I like to stay focused and make the most of my time, and the library provides the perfect environment for that.
Evening
Before sleep, I like to take some time for myself and indulge in my favourite pastime, reading books. Currently, I am enjoying "Zero to One" by Peter Thiel with Blake Masters. It's a great read, and I highly recommend it. Then, it's time for a warm bath and a good night's rest.
In summary, my day as a Master's student is a busy and fulfilling one. From group meetings to classwork and personal time, I ensure that each moment is accounted for and spent wisely.
