Future Careers Are Not Linear: How to Build a Career That Adapts Across People, Technology, and Work
Future careers are increasingly non-linear, shaped by rapid technological advancement, evolving organisational structures, and global change. As traditional career pathways continue to shift, adaptability, continuous learning, and cross-sector understanding are becoming central to navigating the future of work.
This session, part of the Inspired Global Network Series, brings together senior leaders from Google, Periphas, Connectr, and 4Box Consulting Ltd to examine how careers are evolving across people, technology, and work. Drawing on diverse sector perspectives, the discussion will explore how individuals can develop resilient and adaptable approaches to their careers in an environment defined by uncertainty and change.
Confirmed Speakers:
- Stuart Waddington, Founder and Managing Director, TDL Performance (host)
- Kelsey Robb, Global Program Manager, Google
- Keith Williams, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Periphas
- Carl Fitzsimons, Managing Director, 4Box Consulting
- Simon Reichwald, Chief Progression Officer, Connectr
Key themes include career transitions and non-linear pathways, the impact of technology on work, the importance of transferable skills, lifelong learning, and the role of sustainability and social impact in shaping future opportunities.
This session is intended for students, graduates, alumni, academic staff, and industry partners, and forms part of a wider programme of global dialogue on leadership, work, and the future of careers.
