How do I apply for the Lancaster MBA and Executive MBA?

As part of your application, you will be required to submit:

  • A detailed CV
  • A personal statement
  • Two good references
  • Your bachelor's degree certificate or transcript
  • English language score (e.g. IELTS or TOEFL)

Your MBA interview

If you successfully pass the first application stage, you will be invited to an online interview with a member of Lancaster's admissions team (for the full-time MBA) or the Programme Director (for the Executive MBA).

The interview process will cover the skills and competencies that you have outlined in your personal statement and a discussion of the Lancaster MBA programme.

Making you an offer

After reviewing your interview performance, our admissions team will make a final decision on your application. If you are successful in securing an offer to study with us, you will be sent detailed instructions on what to do next, including paying your deposit.

If you have applied for the full-time MBA, you will also receive information about applying for accommodation.

Confirming your place

Once any outstanding conditions of your offer have been met, and your deposit has been received, you will receive full details about your place on the programme, and you can start to prepare to join us at Lancaster!

The UK Government provides the Postgraduate Master's Loan scheme to help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate master’s course. Non-means-tested loans are made available to students applying to taught and research master's programmes.
