Join us for an intimate book launch with Professor Eleanor Hamilton, Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship at Lancaster University Management School.

Ellie’s work has shaped the field of entrepreneurial learning, with a particular focus on family businesses, intergenerational learning, and how entrepreneurial capability is developed and passed from one generation to the next. As a founder of LUMS’s Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development, she has played a pivotal role in building research-led impact and business engagement across the School.

At this special event, Ellie will introduce her new book, Rethinking Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, sharing insights from her decades of research and her longstanding commitment to bridging academic knowledge with real-world SME practice — including her influential role in the development of the LEAD programme and the Wave 2 Growth Hubs programme.

Expect thoughtful discussion, the story behind the book, and the opportunity to ask questions directly.

Please note this event is in person only. Registration is free but required

This event is followed by Keeping People Safe: A Fireside Chat with Peter Harrison MBA at 6:05pm.

Attendees are welcome to join both events (separate registration required).
