‌The event, which was for alumni who are living or planning to live in London, attracted over 50 graduates, primarily 2012 graduates but also a number of alumni from other graduation years. 

The main aim of the event was to welcome graduates of 2012 into the Lancaster University Alumni@London community and provide an introduction to the benefits of being connected to other Lancaster alumni in London – including socialising and networking opportunities, careers support and professional guest speaker events.

The group, with support from the University's Alumni and Development Office and from LUMS’ Careers, Alumni and Employer Relations team, is running a series of events in London. The next event on the calendar is the first of a new Management in Action guest speaker series with Ashley Cowen, Operations Director of Jet2.com, on 13th December.
