The competition - run by The Economist Careers Network - aims to find one of the world's "brightest minds" and help fund his or her education at a top business school.

The title and $25,000 scholarship will be awarded to the highest scorer on Economist GMAT Tutor's online simulated GMAT exam.

The contest is open to anyone who is interested in pursuing an MBA or EMBA and the winner can apply their scholarship towards tuition to any of the contest’s business school sponsors, including LUMS.

The most recent winner, Chris Brennan, beat more than 6,000 entrants around the world by scoring highest on Economist GMAT Tutor's simulation test.  The New Jersey-based manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers also penned the most compelling tie-breaker essay, defeating 120 other finalists.

Lancaster MBA Programme Director Peter Lenney said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for talented professionals to enhance their existing expertise and boost their future career by studying an MBA.

The closing date is April 30^th, 2016 and the winner will be announced by May 31st.
