New graduate Nick Trevor is this year's winner of the Informed Solutions Prize for Best MIT Student.
Nick, who has just completed the BSc Management and Information Technology, was presented with a trophy and a £250-prize by Dr Yvonne Latham, Director of the MIT Programme.
The award recognises the student with the highest overall mark on the programme. Previous winners have included Eliot Wassell (2011), Kremena Daskalova (2012), Ashley Morris (2013) and Jonathan O’Reilly (2014).
After what Nick described as "an amazing year", he will shortly begin his graduate career working at K3 Syspro as an IT Consultant.
He said: "I am absolutely delighted to receive this prize from Informed Solutions for the hard work I have put into my degree while studying at Lancaster University. It is an amazing accolade to have and it will be both useful now and in the future. I could not thank everyone enough for their support throughout my degree."
Dr Latham added: "Congratulations to Nick on his great achievements in not only obtaining a 1st class degree, but also on becoming our MIT graduate of the year."
