Creativity and communication were the key topics up for discussion at an MBA event in Kuala Lumpur last week.

The event, for students of the Lancaster MBA programme at Sunway University as well as Lancaster alumni, featured talks from guest speakers Marianne Dupuis and Carsten Cziborr.

Marianne, whose talk was entitled “Three ways to boost creativity”, is a certified coach and professional trainer who works very closely with business owners, executives, managers and CEOs who want to enhance their communication skills.

Afterwards, Carsten Cziborr, a Licensed Master Trainer of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), drew from his experiences training and coaching hundreds of people from various walks of life.  The importance of communication skills in achieving personal excellence, leadership and teamwork was clear from his presentation.

Nearly 40 people attended the event at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

David Simm, Director of the Lancaster Executive MBA in Sunway, said: “This was a great event.  Attendance was fantastic, which created a real buzz in the room.  The speakers were engaging and interactive and the hotel was excellent. We are looking forward to hosting this event again next year.”
