As Camelot doubles the price of its Lotto tickets, the effect will increase the probability of a rollover from 17 per cent to 34 per cent, says LUMS economist Professor Ian Walker. His advice: if you must play, then "play strategically – buy on a Wednesday, preferably after a rollover the previous Saturday."
