The prize celebrates the 2014 graduating cohort of the innovative BSc (Hons) Management and Information Technology (MIT) degree.

Acting on behalf of Deloitte UK, Dr Niall Hayes, Director of the MIT Programme at Lancaster, awarded the prize to Jonathan for achieving the highest overall mark on the course. Jonathan gained a first-class degree on the programme and graduated in July this year.

Jonathan spent the third year of his four-year degree working for Xerox in Uxbridge. In September he begins a new job with Vodafone on their technical graduate programme.

Deloitte have supported the annual MIT Prize since the first graduating cohort in 2011. A spokesperson from Deloitte said:
