Alumni and applicants meet at Taipei event
24 January 2017
More than 40 alumni and applicants in Taiwan came together for an evening event at the Westin Taipei Hotel, on 13th January.
Hosted by LUMS’ Recruitment and Student Mobility Manager, Rachel Tod, the event included presentations about study and recent developments at Lancaster University as well as providing a great opportunity for networking over drinks and a delicious buffet. The excellent quality and service of the venue, the Westin Taipei Hotel, was appreciated by all.
Rachel commented: “It was a pleasure to meet with Lancaster University alumni and to provide the opportunity for them to meet and network with fellow Lancaster graduates. I am also grateful to the alumni that shared the Lancaster experiences with the applicants who attended the event”.
Our thanks to the Taiwan Alumni Group Coordinators, Perkins Chen and Hou-Chi Huang, who supported Rachel with the set up and running of the event.
Photos of the event can be viewed on the LUMS Careers, Alumni & Employer Relations Flickr site.
