Lancaster MBA London Networking Event 2025

MBA Students Alumni and guests enjoying the MBA networking event

More than 80 Lancaster MBA alumni, students, faculty, and guests gathered on Thursday 19 June for the programme’s annual London networking event — this year hosted at the elegant One Great George Street in Westminster.

The evening provided a great opportunity for members of the Lancaster MBA community to reconnect, make new contacts, and celebrate the strength of the network — with some guests joining from as far back as 30 years ago.

Guests enjoyed a drinks reception with canapés, before being officially welcomed by MBA Programme Director, Dr Mark Dawson who spoke about the continued growth and global reach of the Lancaster MBA community.

The evening’s highlight was an inspiring keynote from Matt Jackson, Co-Founder of Lancaster Brewery, whose candid account of his entrepreneurial journey captured the attention of the room. From navigating the challenges of the hospitality and brewing industries to launching Lancaster’s first single malt whisky distillery, Matt shared a compelling story of risk, resilience and innovation — sparking both laughter and reflection.

As the evening unfolded, stories were shared, connections deepened, and future collaborations began to take shape — a testament to the power and longevity of the Lancaster MBA experience.

Thank you to all who attended and contributed to such a memorable evening — and to our alumni, students and staff who continue to strengthen the Lancaster MBA legacy.
