Lancaster University Management School’s (LUMS) Careers Service has been recognised for its work with students with a top awards nomination.

LUMS has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Student Support Award (Careers and Employability) at the inaugural UKCISA (UK Council for International Student Affairs) #WeAreInternational Awards 2025.

The shortlisting celebrates their exceptional commitment to delivering a positive experience for international students.

The UKCISA awards received 420 nominations across 120 institutions, and LUMS’s nomination highlights the innovative, inclusive, and impactful work the Careers Service team has undertaken to support students’ career development and employability.

“We’re thrilled to be recognised by UKCISA,” said Noeleen Hammond Jones, Deputy Head of LUMS Careers – Work Related Learning. “This nomination reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting international students in building meaningful careers and ensuring they feel a strong sense of belonging here at Lancaster.”

The winners will be announced in November at the UKCISA Awards Ceremony in London. Sixty-three finalists across 13 categories from institutions across the UK will gather to celebrate excellence in international student support.
