Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) has once again retained its place within the UK’s top 10 business schools in the most recent Financial Times European Business Schools rankings, published today.
LUMS is 10th in the UK and 54th in Europe according to the 2022 rankings, which are compiled based on salary increases of alumni who completed the MBA, Executive MBA and Masters in Management (MiM) programmes.
The same rankings place Lancaster’s MBA 20th in Europe, after alumni secured a 112 per cent increase in salary three years after completing their studies – making LUMS the number 1 business school in the UK this year for MBA salary increases. Lancaster’s EMBA is ranked 52nd in Europe.
Professor Claire Leitch, Executive Dean of LUMS, said: “Seeing LUMS perform so well in these rankings is wonderful, and is testament to the quality of our postgraduate programmes and the unwavering commitment of our staff who go above and beyond to give our students the very best experience.
“The FT rankings use data from alumni and so it is always fantastic to see how well our students are doing – with so many progressing their careers in a very short space of time after completing their studies.
“We are incredibly fortunate to attract the very highest class of students from right across the world and I’d like to personally thank them for contributing to the rankings data.”
Lancaster’s MBA is currently ranked first in the world for corporate strategy and 2nd in the world for value for money in the Financial Times MBA global rankings 2022, which places the programme 8th in the UK, 21st in Europe and 76th in the world overall. LUMS’ MBA is also ranked 10th in the UK and 89th in the world by the Economist Which MBA? Rankings 2022.
LUMS’ Executive MBA was ranked 9th in the UK and 3rd in Africa by the Financial Times EMBA Global Rankings 2022, and 30th in Europe, 75th in the world in the QS Global EMBA rankings 2022.
