New rankings confirm LUMS Master’s programmes among world’s best

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) Master’s programmes are ranked among the best in a new global ranking, published today.
The QS Business Master’s Rankings 2026 from QS Quacquarelli Symonds reveal Lancaster’s MSc Supply Chain Management is ranked joint 3rd in the UK and joint 15th in the world, while being positioned 10th in the world for employability and 11th in the world for thought leadership.
Lancaster’s MSc Advanced Marketing Management is now 9th in the UK and maintains its position in the Top 50 in the world, being ranked 15thfor thought leadership globally.
The QS Business Master’s Rankings 2026, which span 67 countries and territories and analyse 390 of the best global MBAs along with hundreds of Business Master’s programmes, also show the following LUMS’ programmes positioned within the World’s top 100:
- MSc Advanced Marketing Management is 42nd globally and 9th in the UK
- MSc Finance is ranked 73rd in the world and 12th in the UK
- MSc Management programme is ranked 75th globally and 13th in the UK
- MSc Business Analytics is ranked 71-80 globally and joint 11th in the UK
The data also shows that LUMS’ Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) programme has climbed this year’s rankings to 121-130 in the world overall and joint 44th in Europe. It is 65th in the world for thought leadership.

This accolade isn’t something that is achieved overnight – and is testament to the exceptional quality of our programmes, teaching, and our world-class academics who work so hard to give our students the best possible experience at Lancaster.”
These latest rankings come hot on the heels of the Financial Times’ Masters in Management ranking, which saw Lancaster’s programme climb to 7th place in the UK and 88th globally.
