Event Details
The Family Business Research and Practice Day 2026 will be held at Lancaster University Management School and will focus on place, rooted beliefs and values. This event is in person and sponsored by the CFB.
Purpose of event:
- To bring researchers for a multi-disciplinary conversation around the importance of place, tradition, creed and commerce for business.
The event aims to cover the following topics:
- The role of place in the development of entrepreneurship.
- The influence of values and beliefs over time and in times of crisis.
- How businesses rely on the values they are rooted in to thrive in challenging times.
