BT recently announced that it would cut up to 55,000 jobs as it adapts to the use of fibre and new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.

In light of this news, Professor Martin Spring (Management Science) argues we need to act responsibly and avoid a 'knee-jerk, sensationalist response' to the use of AI in the workplace in his latest article for The Conversation.
