Research Overview

Before joining STOR-i, I completed my undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Durham University. I studied a range of topics in pure mathematics and statistics, and began to realise that further research might represent an engaging and rewarding opportunity. Experiencing the STOR-i internship in the summer of 2017 confirmed this, and I joined the full STOR-i programme in October 2018.

I am now a first year PhD student, supervised by Dr. Lucy Morgan and Dr. Nicos Pavlidis at Lancaster University, and Professor Barry Nelson at Northwestern University. My research is in the field of stochastic simulation, and aims to develop machine learning methods to allow deeper insights into simulated systems.
