Dr Philip Donkersley is specialist in the evolutionary and microbial ecology of insects in the Lancaster Environment Centre. His talk will explore how the public can directly help to combat the serious threat to the bee population through small scale interventions.
There will be canapés and refreshments provided, following the talk, and the Storey Bar will be open, if anyone would like to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
