Dr Brooke Simmons is a Lecturer in Astrophysics. Brooke's astrophysical research focuses on galaxy evolution and the co-evolution of supermassive black holes with their host galaxies.

Brooke is the Deputy Project Scientist for Galaxy Zoo and Principal Investigator of The Planetary Response Network. She works as part of the Zooniverse team to design and run citizen science projects based on research, and will be sharing details on how you can all get involved in Astrophysics and beyond!

Prior to joining Lancaster, Brooke was an Einstein Fellow at UC San Diego's Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences and the Henry Skynner Junior Research Fellow in Astrophysics at Balliol College, Oxford.

There will be canapés and refreshments provided, following the talk, and the Storey Bar will be open, if anyone would like to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
