Need a laugh this autumn? Want to be inspired and amazed by research from some of Lancaster’s bravest and most creative researchers and professional services staff? Then Bright Club is here to help!

The Borough is where you’ll need to be at 7pm on Thursday 6th November when a whole new cohort of Stand-Ups will be taking the stage alongside Dr Bright Club himself, Steve Cross.

Tickets are £10 (plus booking fee) and the full amount from every ticket will go to Lancaster’s food bank, The Olive Branch. And they certainly need it right now.

About Bright Club

Celebrating its sixth anniversary, Bright Club is a programme that blends academia with comedy providing a unique platform where Lancaster University’s researchers, academics, and occasional professional services staff, perform comedy sets based on their work in front of a live audience.

Compered by comedian and Bright Club founder Steve Cross, you'll hear first time stand-up sets about a whole range of topics from people who are normally teaching students and researching new ideas and possibilities. Come along and watch them be brave, so you don't have to.
