This event focuses on the lived, structural, and systemic dimensions of polycrisis, examining how power, institutions, and social location shape exposure to risk and capacity to respond.

This workshop brings together academics and practitioners to explore how overlapping global crises—ranging from climate change and technological disruption to geopolitical instability—interact to produce and intensify human vulnerability.

Through keynote provocations, collaborative workshops, futures-oriented scenario building, and interdisciplinary dialogue, participants will examine compounding vulnerabilities and identify priorities for research, policy, and institutional action.

The workshop is organized by Security Lancaster and the School of Global Affairs.
