Research Overview

My research interest is understanding how humans perceive and rely on AI-generated videos, particularly those involving speech-based communication such as monologues and dialogues. Rather than examining detection accuracy, I am more invested in exploring how AI videos align with or violate human perceptual expectations. Specifically, I aim to understand what potential risks these perceptual experiences introduce in everyday contexts, as well as in high-stakes institutional settings such as law enforcement and legal evidence evaluation.
