Research Overview

I am interested in young children’s curiosity, particularly whether they try to resolve uncertainty, induced by blurred images. For my first study, I am going to be working in the Infant and Child Development Lab to examine curiosity-based exploration with infants (aged 8 months) and toddlers (aged two years), using a gaze contingent paradigm.

I hope to contribute to greater understanding of how young children explore their world and interact with different stimuli. If we can develop knowledge of what children are curious about, we can stimulate their environment to support their learning and development.
