Jack Bell
PhD studentResearch Overview
Interdisciplinary PhD student in the modelling of cryovolcanic plumes and jets on icy moons. I am interested in a variety of volcanism across the solar system, and the eventual effects of emitted material on magnetospheric systems. Previously investigated the variability of energetic neutral atom emissions from Saturn's plasma torus, including the influence of Enceladus as a plasma source. Currently researching the mechanisms of cryovolcanic eruptions on Enceladus, Europa and Triton and the corresponding plume/jet dynamics.
