I am a funded PhD student in Psycholinguistics and Cognitive Neuroscience at Lancaster University, affiliated with the Emotion and Cognition (EmoCom) Lab and the Language, Inner Speech, and Neuroscience (LISN) Lab. My research tests how emotional arousal shapes semantic access and integration during language comprehension, with a focus on visually grounded meanings such as visual metaphors. I build controlled visual stimulus sets and combine behavioural measures with EEG, focusing on established ERP components (e.g., N400 and LPP). I prioritise reproducible analysis pipelines and transparent materials to support robust inference about affect, meaning, and decision making behaviour.
