Alastair Richards, Chief Executive, North West Cancer Research

North West Cancer Research has had an office in Health Innovation One since Lancaster University’s flagship collaboration hub opened in 2020. This valued partnership has seen the charity work with academics and the wider health innovation community on various projects over the years.

Chief Executive Alastair Richards said it was the constant opportunities to find engaged collaboration partners which added real value to being on site at Lancaster University.

He added: “For me it’s the constant learning and meeting new people. The Health Innovation Campus Team are great at introducing me to people it's easy to make connections with and where a shared project is only a couple of steps away. For North West Cancer Research, this has taken us into new areas of work – but ones which are exciting and which will have real impact for patients.”
