The journey of my dissertation continues and, boy, has it been a whirlwind of work! Who knew it would be such a monumental task? Nevertheless, I'm grateful for the opportunity to work on a client project alongside my academic pursuits.

Recently, we had the incredible experience of visiting a warehouse, immersing ourselves in real-time operations and gaining firsthand insights into how the company functions. It's exhilarating to step away from the realm of hypothetical assignments and contribute to real-world problem-solving. Engaging in this work daily fills me with an indescribable rush. It may be hard to believe, but when you're doing what you love, time ceases to hold you captive. At least, that's how it feels for me.

While my dissertation keeps me occupied, I must also navigate the daunting realm of job hunting. The nights seem to blur together, filled with anticipation and anxiety as I wake up to emails bearing the familiar phrase, "Unfortunately, you can't be the one for us." It can be disheartening, to say the least. However, I've sought guidance from the University's careers team, who have shed light on some crucial points I had been overlooking in my CV. I'm diligently working on rectifying these issues and keeping my hopes high for better prospects.

Amidst the academic and professional challenges, there's a wave of emotions to contend with. Many of our friends and peers are leaving for their much-needed vacations back home. Although we all face our own share of hardships, it's comforting to witness how we support and strengthen one another. Our accommodation even boasts a cinema hall, and we've made it a weekly tradition to gather there, setting aside time from our hectic schedules to watch a movie. At the end of each day, I realize I wouldn't have thrived as well as I have without the incredible friendships I've formed here.

Now, as I approach the final stretch of this academic year, I ask for your kind wishes and support in my job search endeavours. Every opportunity, no matter how small, holds significance in making both myself and my university proud. So please, keep those good vibes and luck coming my way!
