Research Overview

I am a PhD Student in Economics at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) in the United Kingdom. My research interests lie at the intersection of Development, Health, and Environmental Economics. Working primarily within an applied microeconomics framework, my doctoral dissertation investigates how household resources, environmental conditions, and access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities interact to shape early-childhood health and educational outcomes in developing countries. I am particularly interested in exploring these dynamics within rapidly urbanizing regions, where infrastructure bottlenecks and environmental externalities present critical hurdles to human capital production.
