My research is situated within consumer vulnerability, with a specific focus on marketplace accessibility, and explores the complexities and intricacies of social interactions faced by individuals with neurological conditions. Using a role theory lens, my research uncovers the complexities and intersection of various roles enacted by individuals having neurological conditions in the commercial environment. This helps to shed light on how they navigate and negotiate the various roles occupied by them. Moreover, I have also partnered with NeuroDropIn, a charity based in Lancaster, United Kingdom to explore the role of pastoral services in the lives of people with neurological conditions and how these services impact their lives and social interactions. This also helps to acknowledge the role charities play in advocating for more inclusive environment.
