Research Overview

Duncan is a Chartered Forester, with 35 years experience working in the corporate and NGO sectors, principally on land use, food and agriculture.

He has experience operationalising sustainability across corporate functions, and especially through engagement and collaboration strategies. This has involved working at the interface between different stakeholder groups – companies, academia, NGOs and governments.

His interest is in new ways of measuring societal value creation, and how corporate approaches to sustainability can best deliver impact for society, consumers and investors.
