Profile
Perosonal Chair in Management Education and Innovation
Radka has 15 years of senior input into global educational networks with proven reputation for developing collaborative and cross-functional teams. Before she came to the UK in 2002, she managed her own English language teaching company, published as series of Czech/English dictionaries.
Radka has held a variety of positions in Lancaster for the past 11 years. She has developed an International professional team, student recruitment and conversion team, Effective learning team and led admissions team. After ten years in a senior leadership function she decided to pursue her passion for teaching and research and become a senior teaching fellow in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy.
Her overarching research interest is in the deployment of service design and process improvement in organisations with the focus on the impact of service operations on applicant and student experience underlined by analysis of capacity and demand management.
Her current research investigates the impact of organisational culture on service design and continuous improvement and the role of resistance in organisation change programmes.

2022 - present Founder and Director of Centre for Scholarship and Innovation in Management Education (SIME)
- Established a scholarship of teaching and learning community to prove the concept of
the need to promote innovation in management education and to inspire evidence-based excellence in our pedagogy in response to the changing nature of learning.
- Awarded a research centre status to develop a collaborative and interdisciplinary space through which we will explore the future of teaching and scholarship in management education.
