Organic Chemistry

Plastic models of molecules

About us

The organic chemistry team at Lancaster is hosted in excellent, recently expanded research facilities and has expertise in organometallic, organo- and photo-catalysis, as well as enantioselective synthesis, materials and supramolecular chemistry.

Our interdisciplinary approach significantly intersects with the efforts of other research teams at Lancaster and beyond, leveraging our specialised expertise to address challenges in synthesis and catalysis. We are at the forefront of innovative solutions in these fields, pioneering the development of cutting-edge small molecule libraries and groundbreaking materials. Our sustainable and forward-thinking methods aim to achieve efficiency and environmental responsibility in a range of scientific applications.
