This workshop is organised by the Information Systems Group, LUMS, in collaboration with Security Lancaster.
It is well established that cyber security is a cross disciplinary effort, however this type of joined up approach is difficult to achieve because organisations often operate in silos and drive security from more dominant technical or policy perspectives, with limited scope to engage and get close to the practices of employees and teams on the ground. This workshop, organised jointly between LUMS Information Systems Group and Security Lancaster, aims to showcase research within the IS security field highlighting organisational and management perspectives and approaches It also seeks to build bridges with security research from other areas, as well as capture perspectives from companies and organisations on the importance and challenges of a more joined up approach to cyber security in organisations
