'I want to breathe': Creating an Anti-Racist Campus
This event, hosted by the Race Equality Charter with guest speakers from Lancaster University Students' Union and Decolonising Lancaster University, will explore how we can cultivate inclusivity and generate ideas for a better future.
The event will be held on 25 May from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM in Library C130. Lunch will be provided and specialist speakers will talk about race equality and support at the University. A vegetarian (vegan upon request) lunch will be provided and expert speakers will talk about race equality and support at the University. There is also an opportunity to participate in a collaborative exercise to generate ideas on creating an anti-racist campus.
We must come together as a community to address systemic racism and work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable environment. Our aim is to create a safe space where everyone can share their experiences and thoughts without fear of judgment. Let's start the conversation and work towards a better future for all of us.
This event is open to both staff and students of Lancaster University.
