Lancaster University Management School and Lancaster University Investment and Finance Society are delighted to host alumnus Eric Sim: banker, coach, and author of "Small Actions: Leading Your Career to Big Success".
Eric Sim's bio:
Before enrolling at Lancaster University, Eric Sim was a timid young man facing challenges in his early career.
After earning his MSc in Finance from LUMS in 1997, he embarked on a banking career in London, Singapore, and Shanghai.
During his tenure in Hong Kong, Sim served as a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank and as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Sim founded the Institute of Life with the mission of helping young professionals in achieving success both at work and in their personal lives. As part of this mission, he published his first book “Small Actions: Leading Your Career to Big Success” which was nominated for a Business Book Award in London in 2022.
Today, Sim is also recognised as a key opinion leader with over two million followers on LinkedIn.
