My experience of summer term on the MSc International Business and Strategy
Posted on

As the summer term draws to a close, I reflect on the incredible speed at which time has flown by. It feels like just yesterday when I arrived in Lancaster, embarking on this remarkable academic journey. Yet now, as the study period nears its end, I am looking forward to a new adventure, transitioning into the professional world with a sense of pride and integrity.
Amidst the flurry of activities, my focus is currently devoted to my dissertation, which has to be submitted in the upcoming month. While the deadline looms, I must confess that the process has been both challenging and rewarding. Immersed in communication strategies and the online environment, I am captivated by the evolving landscape of businesses migrating to the digital sphere. This project has become a way to expand my knowledge, and I am determined to pour my heart and soul into it.
As the term concludes, invitations to numerous social events flood my inbox. Although I reside off campus, preventing me from attending every gathering, I cherish the connections I've made throughout the year and the friendship shared with fellow students. I am grateful for the memories and experiences that have enriched my time here.
On the topic of my job search, I recently received an invitation for an interview scheduled for this week. With hopeful anticipation, I eagerly await the opportunity to showcase my skills and enthusiasm. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome!
A recent highlight that brought immense joy was the opportunity of representing my university as a student ambassador during an open day. Interacting with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds was a great pleasure. Engaging in conversations about our esteemed institution and providing campus tours was an enriching experience that emphasised this community's warmth and vibrancy.
As I conclude, I cannot help but express my heartfelt affection for this place and its cherished memories. The people, the laughter, the growth—I shall carry them with me as I begin the next chapter of my life.
