Career History

Shaun Wane is the Head Coach of his hometown and world class rugby league club – the Wigan Warriors.

Having originally signed for Wigan in 1982 as a player, Shaun made over 140 appearances for the club and featured in significant matches of the era, winning countless awards and trophies.

In 1999, Shaun re-joined Wigan Rugby League Club on the coaching side firstly as a talent scout and later moving through the club to become Head Coach in 2011.

Under Shaun’s passionate and focused leadership, theWarriors have won every trophy currently available and have most recently been crowned World Club Champions.
