Join us for this Cyber Security Executive MBA (CEMBA) - Protecting Information in Cyber-Physical Systems

Earlier this year, Lancaster University launched the new CEMBA programme. As we prepare for the next cohort starting in January 2024, we are hosting a series of online masterclasses to showcase the variety of subjects we cover in the CEMBA and to introduce you to some of the professors, lecturers and industry experts who contribute to the programme.

Cyber physical systems are embedded in many aspects of our lives. We use them for daily tasks and reply on them as part of a nation’s critical infrastructure. Cyber physical systems often differ significantly from traditional IT and cloud in terms of their capabilities and also the threats they will be subject to. This makes protecting these systems challenging as existing approaches either do not fit or need modification to be suitable. This means novel techniques need to be developed to protect these systems under their unique constraints.
