Dr Caston Sigauke presented on the topic of peak electricity demand forecasting using time series regression models at the LCF research forum, a regularly held meeting between all LCF staff and research students. He also has started working on a joint short term probabilistic load forecasting using quantile regressions with an application to the unit commitment problem together with Prof. John Boylan and Prof. Robert Fildes. This project marks the start of the collaboration between Lancaster Centre for Forecasting and a research group led by Caston at University of Venda.
