Suresite praises Lancaster MBA student project

MBA students who worked with Suresite

A group of MBA students who completed a successful Consultancy Challenge project with Suresite Group, a card services and risk management company, have been featured on the company website.

Suresite, which was established in 1994, specialises in two product areas: card processing solutions for businesses, and health and safety risk management, particularly for the petroleum industry.

Suresite’s brief for the MBA Consultancy Challenge was to produce a customer services policy that could be deployed across the whole company. This involved investigating current industry standards and Suresite’s own customer services, defining what customers should expect in terms of service delivery, and developing a set of procedures and processes that Suresite could use in all interactions with customers.

The MBA team carried out the work by interviewing Suresite directors and staff and conducting market research with customers.

Karen Griffiths, one of the Suresite directors, said: “The students were professional, attentive and friendly. They worked incredibly well as a diverse team and fully grasped the concept of customer service. We will definitely be incorporating their ideas as we review our customer service procedures. Everyone at Suresite wishes them all the best for the future.”

The MBA Consultancy Challenge is a four-week project which takes place in the early Spring. Students work in small teams analysing real problems presented by client organisations. The Consultancy Challenge is one of three action-based projects for real clients that students on the Full-time MBA complete at Lancaster.
