The memories and comments of BBA graduates from Lancaster have been captured in a striking new work of art unveiled in the LUMS building on 4 March.

The artwork features the letters B B A formed out of quotes by alumni, students and staff, and its border incorporates the names of all BBA graduates since the BBA Management programme’s first cohort graduated in 1993.

The artwork will serve as a lasting symbol of the value of the BBA degrees at LUMS and is the culmination of several months of celebration activities to mark the 20th anniversary of the BBA Management.

BBA graduate Katharine Armstrong-Short was commissioned to produce the artwork and said: “I have such amazing memories of my time on the BBA, so being commissioned to create a legacy for the programme has been a heart-warming honour.”

Katharine, who graduated with a BBA Management USA/Canada in 2001, is now a designer specialising in interior design and quote art, for which she blends together images and text.
