Business leaders share expertise with Future Global Leaders students

Future Global Leaders

Students were recently given an invaluable opportunity to network with 23 members of the newly established LUMS Leaders in Residence.

As part of the Future Global Leaders employability module, students took part in a poster competition, showcasing their predictions for what leadership would be like in the future.

The Leaders in Residence, a group which includes CEOs, Vice Presidents, Managing Directors and Partners from a variety of industries, helped to judge the competition and took part in round-table discussions helping students to access a wealth of career development tips, corporate expertise, and insights into leadership and management.

The winning team were Louis Grocott, Nick Walton, Bruno Salsas Leon and Akshay Mirpuri Mahboobani.

LUMS Associate Dean for Undergraduate Niall Hayes said: “The event was a great success. Our undergraduate students had access to some of the leading business people in the UK. They benefited from discussions with the Leaders. The leaders also provided excellent feedback to the students who had displayed their posters. All of the student posters were excellent and it was very difficult to choose a winner. I would like to congratulate all of the students that participated as well as those that were awarded a prize.”
