Dr Lara Pecis (Organisation, Work and Technology) provided insights on innovation and inclusivity to the Scottish Government.

During two separate talks, Dr Pecis discussed issues of inclusion in and around organisations.

The first talk provided policymakers with tools for understanding how inclusion can become a seed for productivity at the organisational level. The talk informed policy for SMEs on how to best achieve inclusion, and highlighted the drawbacks of a lack of diversity and inclusion in different HR practices.

The second talk gave insights into the contributions of an inclusive innovation ecosystem for regional growth. In particular, Dr Pecis proposed some key points for policymakers on how to foster inclusion and productivity through well-being and community-focused actions
