Writing for The Conversation, Professor Juliana Sutanto (Management Science) discusses her latest research which explains why we are led to click on some news stories over others.

She talks about problems facing journalism and, with most people not getting their news directly from news sites anymore, explores whether it's possible for media companies and aggregators such as Apple News, Google and Facebook to have symbiotic relationships.
