Two leading Lancashire businesses threw open their doors to aspiring management leaders as reward for their endeavours in the classroom.

Students on Lancaster University Management School’s Master’s in Management programme (MiM) had the opportunity to engage with leaders at Dewlay Cheesemakers and Booths supermarkets.

The 18 Golden Ticket winners – nominated by MiM module leaders to be the best in class – engaged with leaders and thinkers at both businesses, gaining invaluable insight into how strategy, innovation, and tradition come together in successful enterprises.

MiM Programme Director Dr Bingbing Ge said: “We have some wonderful businesses here in Lancashire, and this was an opportunity for our MiM students to go behind closed doors and discover more about how they operate.

“All the Golden Ticket winners have shown themselves to be wonderfully capable students, and this was a great reward and experience for them. I want to congratulate them, and pass on heartfelt thanks to the teams at Dewlay and Booths for their time, openness, and inspiration.”The MiM Golden Ticket winners hold up their certificates while on a minibus
